Secure, protected and back up data.
MailPerformance implements the appropiate technical and
management measures to avoid incidents, non authorized or illegal treatment,
destruction, loss or damage of data.
|
|
In the same way, security programs and procedures are
implemented to ensure secure access access to the back-office of the
applications, as well as to the management of the machines which compose the
e-mailing platform.
Intrusion tests are carried out by an external company every three
months. |
OUR OBJECTIVES
- To guarantee your convenience when managing your e-mailing campaigns,
- To completely follow-up and protect your data during all
your actions,
- To think on your projects for a long-run success.
MailPerformance employs a combination of
back-up
methods for providing
complete and robust safety
conditions. The back-up methods are implemented according to the strategies of
every type of server:
- Physical security,
- Data and data exchange security,
- Intrusion security,
- Running security,
- Human management.
OUR SECURITY POLICY
Physical security of host’s
environment
- A 24 hours operational service, 7 days a
week, monitoring cameras, a biometric device for accessing to the
protected areas, a power-supply physical redundance system, a constant
temperature for all servers and backup units.
- Server protection against non authorized access through
Authentication certificates, using a combination of
login/password, SSL, firewalls and no direct peer-to-peer link behind the
firewall.
- Protection of customers’ data against non authorized access
or decay.
- On and off line duplicates and backup.
System access by Mailperformance’s
technicians Mailperformance’s technicians have a
tracked
and protected access by using of a login/password combination. The
different access levels provide different rights of access levels depending on
the deeds of each Mailperfomance employee.
OUR COMPLETE DATA BACKUP POLICY
Production of
complete archive files of all the stored information on a specific
server in a given time and storage of the customer’s databases, or creation of
server disk images.
The backup data are duplicated in an external site
different from the production site.
A differential backup
Adding only the information which has been modified or generated
after the last complete backup. It’s a method employed to track the changes
performed on a customer’s data.
Data Duplication
On A Server Itself
- The so-called “mirroring” or RAID 1 method
allows to create a copy of a server’s whole group of data into several disks.
This method enables to reduce to a minimum the data loss risk in case of a
physical damage caused to a disk. This method is generally used on servers
different from those hosting the database and means no service interruption.
- Another method is the RAID 5 or RAID 10
which copes with the loss of one or several hard drives without service
interruption. This method is used on database servers.
Between several servers
- The server duplication enables to synchronize a server’s data with another
one.
- The "Data Mirroring" method is
used to synchronize a database.
- The "DFS/FRS" method duplicates the files such as imports,
images, HTML pages ...
